Description
Registration ends 2 weeks prior to the class start date
The TWI Job Relations course aids leaders in developing an unbiased, logical approach to developing strong relationships and applying a systematic approach to address problems, as well as preventing them from occurring in the first place. Job Relations teaches leaders how to develop and maintain professional relationships and prevent being seen as having personal biases with staff, peers, and healthcare providers. What is more, the method applies foundations to gain employee and provider engagement which supports developing and maintaining professional trust and cooperation preventing low morale and productivity. When problems do arise, the Job Relations method allows leaders to act based on facts and then weigh potential actions to meet the unit/department objectives in a productive and cohesive way. Without a good method like this, leaders are prone to “jump to conclusions” and develop action plans that results in staff, healthcare provider and patient frustration which then leads to staff and manager/supervisor burnout along with an increase in healthcare provider and patient complaints. The outcome of Job Relations is improved employee engagement, increased employee attendance, increased morale, increased healthcare provider cooperation, increased patient experience scores, and increased staff retention.
