Who do I contact for more information on the Certified

Please contact Bob Wrona, TWI Institute Program

Why should
I become a TWI Institute Certified Trainer?
The TWI Institute
prides itself on being true to the high Training Within Industry
standards put forth for during the Second World War. The TWI Institute
trains Certified Trainers using a consistent and proven method
for success and is your resource for training, educating, and connecting
the TWI community. Follow-up support is available to Certified
Trainers in the form of material updates, facilitation kit supply
replenishment, sharing best practices, and information on delivery
needs.
Are
there prerequisites for becoming a Certified Trainer?
Yes, all
trainer programs require successfully completing the 10-hour course
of the respective Certified Trainer program. Individuals with experience
leading others and implementing continual improvement tools are
well suited for TWI Institute trainer certification. The TWI Institute
requests candidates to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to protect
the training module integrity; this way the program delivery stays
true to the original tenets of the 1941 TWI Service legacy.
How
long are the Certified Trainer programs?
The train the trainer
classes are 40-hours for each class of Job
Relations, Job Instructions,
or Job Methods.
How do I keep my certification current?
Practice,
practice, practice. As we learn from the 10-hour class, Job
Relations,
Job Instructions, and Job
Methods are all skills that we excel
at through repetition. Trainers should deliver at least quarterly
for quality control purposes.
